Laura's composition is featured on 'Solitude' album from violinist Joo Yeon Sir

Laura was commissioned to write a new work for the album 'Solitude' from violinist Joo Yeon Sir, released on Rubicon Records in May 2022.

 

The world premiere recording of Laura's piece 'Through the Fog' is featured as the eighth track on the album, and can be listened to here. 

 

The album received a 5 star review from BBC Music Magazine, which is available to read here. It was also reviewed in Gramophone magazine, which describes Joo Yeon's performance of Laura's composition as 'the standout... an eerie piece, a murderous tarantella punctuated with cobweb harmonics and Spiritual-like song'.
