Laura recently recorded Lisa Streich's new guitar concerto Augenlider with the DSO conducted by Manuel Nawri; the recording will be released by Col Legno later this year. She will also be performing the piece with the Münchener Kammerorchester at the Ernst von Siemens Award Ceremony, where Lisa is one of this year's prizewinners.
Laura will be giving a joint recital for the Park Lane Group at St John's Smith Square including the world premiere of her new piece L'étoile et la Rose, commissioned by PLG with support from the RVW Trust.
She will also be perform the latest Julian Bream Trust commission by Julian Anderson and Philip Cashian's wonderful piece Black Venus, as well as Bennett's Five Impromptus and Rawsthorne's Elegy.
The concert is shared with fantastic soprano Elizabeth Karani and Edmund Whitehead (piano) who wil be performing works by Bernstein, Libby Larsen, Adam Gorb and Julian Philips.

Laura has been awarded first prize at the Volos International Guitar Composition Competition (Greece) for her guitar and violin duo piece 'Five Impressions'. The competition was organised under the auspices of the Greek Composers Union and the first prize includes publication of the piece by 'Papagrigoriou-Nakas' editions, a performance at the next Volos International Guitar Festival and a performance and recording in Athens through the Greek Composers Union.
